Photography For All Time

A forty year relationship with cameras and photography, from the Kodaks' of the 60's, Minoltas', Nikons, and Olympus have all been replaced with Cannon. The bulk loading of film cartridges has given way to the SD memory card. The more things change, the more they stay the same. Photoshop and Lightroom has replaced hours in the darkroom.

You are likely to see me taking a photograph of a construction site reflected in a window, a bee in flight, or flower discovered on a outing. I truly believe that photography is the way to freeze time and capture the moment. Weddings are stressful but fun, especially if you have the freedom to roam, and catch those special moments that pass so quickly.

I review each photography outing as an opportunity to explore boundaries presented and the challenges inherent with pushing those boundaries

The potential to display my photography to a group of unknown individuals and gauge their reactions is a learning experience with an opportunity to grow.

I am evolving from a digital photographer to a photographic digital artist.
